StreamTouch Remote Privacy Policy

Overview

StreamTouch Remote is an independent Android app for controlling compatible Bose SoundTouch speakers on a local WiFi network. This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bose.

Information Stored On Your Device

StreamTouch Remote stores the following information locally on your device:

• Speaker IP address entered by you
• Favourite radio stations
• App presets
• Station lists you create

This information is stored using Android local app storage. It is not sent to the app developer.

Network Communication

StreamTouch Remote communicates with:

• Your speaker on your local WiFi network, using the speaker IP address you provide
• Radio Browser to search public internet radio stations
• Public radio stream servers when you choose to play a station or custom stream URL
• Station artwork URLs when a station provides an icon

Radio station search terms are sent to Radio Browser so search results can be returned. Radio stream providers may receive normal technical information from network requests, such as IP address and user agent.

Accounts

StreamTouch Remote does not require an account and does not provide login for Amazon Music, Spotify, YouTube, Bose, or other music services.

Personal Data Collection

The app developer does not collect, sell, or share personal data from this app.

Children

StreamTouch Remote is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Deletion

You can delete locally stored app data by clearing the app's storage in Android Settings or uninstalling the app.
